An Icehotel which offers ‘cold’ rooms: rooms which are made out of ice. A very unique experience which you should definitely not miss. The hotel also offers ‘warm’ (read normal) rooms. They recommend to book the cold room for the first and last night and in the meantime staying at a warm room.

In the capital of Kenya, Nairobi, you can find this unique accommodation. This beautiful country house, which has been built by the Scots, offers a nice stay with company of giraffes. There are only 10 rooms in the hotel, what gives a personal atmosphere. There are living 11 giraffes on the property, so when you are opening your window in the morning, it’s possible that you’ll be greeted by a giraffe. How cool is that?!

The most unique thing about Kakslauttanen Hotel are the igloos where you can stay at. When you’re in the right season and at the right time, there is a possibility that you can admire the Northern Lights through the windows of your igloo room.

The hotel is located between Manuel Antonio National Park and the Pacific Ocean.

The Manta Resort on Pemba Island, Zanzibar, features beach villas in a heavenly environment. What makes the accommodation unique, is the underwater room. It literally means you will sleep in a room which is underwater! You can watch fishes swim past your window and enjoy the undersea world. At night, spotlights under the windows can be turned on to attract the fishes.
