A lovely stay at L’Orizzonte Relais Sirolo
Sirolo is a small coast town located at the East coast of Italy, also close to Rimini. At the end of March this year I’ve stayed in Sirolo as part of a mini road trip to Bologna, the East coast and San Marino. If you click here, you can find more about my experiences during this beautiful road trip.
When in Sirolo, I’ve stayed at the L’Orizzonte Relais Sirolo for one night. In this article I’ll tell you some more about my experiences during my stay and hopefully this will help you with your searching to a nice accommodation around the East coast of Italy.

Why we booked this accommodation
We were looking for a place to stay close to “Le Due Sorelle”: a beautiful beach (and surroundings) we discovered when scrolling the internet. Searching on several booking websites, we came across Sirolo and the L’Orizzonte Relais. We absolutely love small accommodations, so this was a perfect choice for not that much of money. We also liked the fact that the accommodation has a nice roof terrace and is located in the town centre.
Location
Like said before, the accommodation is located in the town centre of Sirolo, where you can find a diverse range of eateries. From Sirolo you can easily go to other towns around the East coast of Italy. I’m not sure how good the public transport works from Sirolo, but if you have a rental car, Sirolo is a great starting point for exploring more!
The Room
The room was very beautiful and clean. It all looks quite new, but it’s classically decorated. There is enough space to leave your luggage and to move around with two persons. I also loved the fact that the room features a balcony, because I love to have the possibility to sit outside in the morning or evening when I’m relax a bit in the room.
There are coffee and tea facilities in the room as well, which I liked. We made ourselves some coffee before we went for breakfast. We could drink our coffee on the roof terrace.
Breakfast
The accommodation doesn’t offer breakfast and therefor there also isn’t a breakfast room. However, at arrival you receive a breakfast coupon which you can spend in a few eateries in Sirolo. After our coffee, we went to one of the eateries where we could chose a sandwich and something to drink. It was a small breakfast, but very nice.
Service
The service of L’Orizzonte Relais was great in my opinion. We arrived quite late in the evening and our host was still waiting for us, which was very sweet. She showed us our room and explained everything we needed to know. When we left the next morning, she’s there again to say goodbye to us. It was a really nice and hospitable service!
Price
For one night, including breakfast, you pay around € 80,- per room (so for two persons). Comparing to other accommodations in the surrounding, I found this very reasonable! You get a nice stay with a lovely small breakfast and a great service, what makes the price worth it. You can book this accommodation at, for example, Booking.com.
Overview
This overview is a summary of the points written above. I’ll give a point from one star until five stars where one star is very bad and five stars is very good.

Like you can see above, I’m very happy about my stay at the L’Orizzonte Relais. It’s a small boutique hotel (which I love) located in the town centre of Sirolo. In walking distance you can find several eateries. The service was perfect and so was the room. Sirolo is a nice starting point to explore more of the East Coast of Italy.
