The best London Christmas sights

It’s almost Christmas! Since I went to London two weeks ago, I can tell you all about the must sees in London during Christmas. Explore the best London Christmas Sights!

1. Winter Wonderland

The Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park is one of the famous Christmas events in London. It is such a big park with lots of things to do. You can call it more a funfair with some Christmas stalls, but it has a cosy atmosphere. You can enjoy some hot chocolate, glühwein, crêpes or waffles. Furthermore, you can go into several attractions, ice skating or go into an ice bar.

The park is suitable for children, youth and adults. You can enter the park for free, but all the attractions costs a lot.

2. Harrods

It is not a sight where you will spend a lot of time, but around Christmas it is definitely worth a visit. Since the famous warehouse features beautiful Christmas decoration around this time of the year, it is for sure amazing to take a look in Harrods. The outside of the warehouse is also beautifully decorated.

3. Covent Garden

This district of London, close to Oxford Street and China Town, is nice to visit for her coffee houses and around Christmas definitely for her Christmas decorations around the streets. It gives a cosy and warm atmosphere and it is nice to walk through all the streets of this district.

4. London Eye

The London Eye is a beautiful attraction from a distance (especially by night when it is lightened) and is really worth to visit during Christmas. You will have a great view over the city and during the night you will see all the beautiful Christmas lights around the city. Make sure to get a London Eye ticket and enjoy the breathtaking views.

5. Oxford Street

Oxford Street is one of the most popular streets of London: most of the international stores are located in this street and that is why Oxford Street is very popular by the tourists. It can be a very busy street, but with all the Christmas decorations in the street and in- and outside the stores, it gives a real Christmas atmosphere. Definitely worth the visit and do not forget to get your Christmas gifts in one of the many stores.

What are you going to do with Christmas? I will enjoy some drinks and dinner with my family, my boyfriend and his family. Christmas is one of my favourites times of the year, so I am really excited!

Everyone, have a very merry Christmas! 🙂
