We all know that Los Angeles is an amazing place to go on vacation but did you know how easy it is to fall in love with the city? No matter where you stay, whether it’s in one of the many Luxury Retreats or in a hotel, you’re likely to find yourself falling in love with this very unique destination. 

Below you will find a few destinations you should visit and activities you should partake in while you’re in LA. These destinations and activities will help you to fall in love with this very remarkable place.

Culver City Park

Make your way to Culver City Park in the early morning and watch as the local street performers get ready to start their day. While everyone else is heading to work, enjoy your stroll around the park. 

Spend Some Time at Venice Beach 

Venice Beach is a must-visit destination for anyone who wants to be seen. It’s also the ideal destination if you want to spend some time somewhere beautiful. One of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Venice Beach does get crowded from time to time so you’ll have to get here early. 

You’ll notice that Venice Beach is exactly what you’d expect. There’s a throng of people on roller skates and even more on skateboards. There are also a lot of street performers in the area who are trying to score their lucky break. Venice Beach is, therefore, one of the best places in Los Angeles to be as it offers a glimpse of the surreal and the beautiful.

Enjoy a Spot of Free Yoga

While you’re on vacation in Los Angeles you might want to indulge in a spot of free Ashtanga yoga. You can find this session at one of the local gyms. There are many places that offer free yoga classes and there’s no obligation for you to sign up for future classes. If you would like to keep up with your yoga sessions while you’re away or you want to try it for the first time, LA is the best place to be.

The Farmer’s Market

Head to the Farmer’s Market that’s found on Los Angeles’ Westside. Enjoy a stroll around the market and don’t be afraid to sample some of the local cuisines that are for sale. Enjoy this Farmer’s Market as it sells a lot of great locally produced fruit and vegetables. While you’re in the area make sure you visit the cheese vendor’s stall and sample some very tasty cheese. While you’re strolling around the market spend some time listening to some of the locals who play their guitars for you. Don’t forget to tip them at least a few dollars while you’re there.

Visit Beverley Hills

Beverley Hills is one of the areas that you just have to visit. Here you will find many stores that are full to the brim of magnificent and upmarket stores that cater to the rich and famous. If you want to drive to Beverley Hills you’ll have to make sure you know where the free parking is as there is few and far between.

Admire the cars that are parked in the parking lots or at the side of the road. They are there to be admired and adored. Watch even more beautiful people stroll by and out of stores that you can only dream of shopping in. Feel as though you’re in a completely different world to that of which you’re used to. It really is quite surreal but it’s one of the reasons why many people love Los Angeles.

Enjoy Dining at Night

If you ever wake up hungry in the middle of the night you’ll love Los Angeles. This area is ideal for those who have a craving for chicken or any dish for that matter at midnight. One eatery that you have to head to is Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles which can be found on Pico. 

The chicken here is nothing short of divine and the cornbread is simply out of this world. Open until 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays and until 12 am every other day, it’s very likely that you’ll visit this amazing eatery at least once.

Spend Some Time in Little Ethiopia

Found in Mid-Wilshire which is a district of Central Los Angeles, Little Ethiopia is full to the brim of wonderful boutiques, thrift stores, and coffee shops. With a history that dates back to the 1990s, this area has some amazing places to eat. You must try an Ethiopian dish in at least one of the local eateries as they are simply divine. You really can find something from almost every culture in this amazing part of California.

Get Used to the Traffic

Whether you plan to drive around Los Angeles or you simply wish to use public transport you will find that the traffic here is like nowhere else. There are inpatient motorists everywhere, some will even want you to explain to them why you’re lost. 

While some people will undoubtedly hate the traffic, those beautiful people in those beautiful cars that honk at you will remind you that Los Angeles is a very unique but wonderful place. Simply smile at the angry people who don’t know how lucky they are. Laugh their frustration out of you and enjoy the unique atmosphere.
