Mostar: must stay apartment with views

For travelers who’re going to Bosnia & Herzegovina, Mostar probably is one of the most popular places to visit. That’s also why Mostar offers a diversity of accommodations. During our stay in Mostar, we actually stayed in two accommodations. One night in the Ernevaza Apartment and one in the other apartment.

We had seen the Ernevaza Apartment earlier, but at the moment we wanted to book it for our two-nights stay, it was already full. We could only book it for one night.. and we did! It seemed a really beautiful apartment to us so we choose to stay there that one night. In this article I’ll tell you some more about the apartment and our experiences.

About Mostar

Mostar is a historical city located in Bosnia & Herzegovina. It has small streets, atmospheric restaurants, the famous Stari Most bridge, but also beautiful street art. You can find it all in Mostar! I really loved the city, but also in the surroundings (+/- 1-2 hours by car) you can find some magnificent places. If you have more than just one day in Mostar, there is plenty to visit as a day trip.

Location in Mostar

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The location of the Ernevaza Apartment in Mostar was perfect! Although we were nearby the old town, we still stayed at a tranquil location. The old town with its restaurants and shops can be reached in a walking distance of approximately 10 minutes, so that’s great.

There’s no private parking place, but you can park your car for free in the direct environment of the apartment. From the apartment, you can easily leave the city and go to one of the other highlights in the area just outside Mostar.

The apartment

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

The Ernevaza Apartment is very spacious! Next to the fact that their is a large balcony (with seats and magnificent views), there also is a living area with kitchen, a separated bedroom and a bathroom. Besides, the apartment was very clean, which I found an important point of interest.

Facilities

If you’d like to, you can stay in this apartment with a maximum of four persons. There is a separated bedroom, but you can also sleep on the couch in the living area, which also is a sofa bed. There is a living area with a kitchen table, a sitting corner and a fully equiped kitchen which is ideal! The balcony is also very spacious and features seats with a small table.

Bathroom

The bathroom was also very clean and modern. There is a toilet, a shower and a washbasin in the bathroom and it has everything you need. Below you can find a photo of the bathroom.

Service

Rating: 4 out of 5.

As our host (with whom we’ve had been talking through Airbnb) wasn’t home, we were welcomed by her parents. Although they couldn’t speak much English, it was a warm welcome. They gave us a quick tour through the apartment and helped us by parking our car.

During our stay or by leaving the apartment the day after, we didn’t have contact anymore with the hosts. The contact through Airbnb went really well though and we can’t complain about anything actually.

Price of Ernevaza Apartment Mostar

Rating: 4 out of 5.

If you’re travelling with two persons, you pay € 60,- for one night in the Ernevaza Apartment (with service costs € 70,- in total). This price is based on my search results at time of writing (June 3 2021). Take into account that the price can be different at the time you’d like to book it. Personally, I think the price-quality ratio is perfect. It’s a beautiful and clean apartment in a great location so I think € 60,- isn’t expensive at all. You can book the apartment through Airbnb.

In short, I can absolutely recommend a stay in this apartment when traveling to Mostar. It’s a lovely stay with hospitable hosts, a great location and some fantastic views!

Address: you’ll receive the address after booking through Airbnb.
