I’ve just re-watched the 2003 movie “The Snow Walker.” I quote IMDB description: “A pilot and his passenger struggle for survival after crashing in the Arctic tundra.”

Dear readers, I just thought about another great travel movie: ‘the canyon’. The canyon is about a honeymooning couple who get lost in the wide expanse of the Grand Canyon and needs to survive and find help. In my opinion this movie definitely should be part of the top 10 of this list.

Thanks for your input! The sheltering sky seems to be a nice movie to watch. I already love the quote in the movie trailer: ‘we are not tourists, we are travellers. A tourist is someone who thinks about going home in the moment they arrived, we as a traveller might not come back at all’.
